The second rum from the rum calendar kept me awake at night for quite some time. It was such an experience that a full bottle just had to happen. And it did not take me long to realize I had to own this Trinidadian beauty. Well, dear friends, the moment has come. Compaňero Elixir Orange is here and it is beautiful.
This is a very sweet and very aromatic rum elixir, which is also very strong at the same time (40 %). It has probably the strongest aroma of what I have ever tried. On the palate, you will notice tropical fruits – especially orange and coconut. It is a very pleasant rum which is great to enjoy with your significant other. I have to admit that I like this style of rum and as an A. H. Riise lover, I must recommend this to anyone who is not opposed to sweet tastes. This rum is produced by the guys from 1423, Denmark, who are also responsible for the rum calendar.
The bottle is nothing special – just a rounded bottle with a cheap label. But the looks of the bottle are improved a bit with the tube it comes in.

The price is fair, you get the full bottle of this beauty for CZK 788. Unfortunately, it is currently not in stock, so it seems we have bought all there was for this wonderful rum in our country. So you may only envy me. But maybe you’ll find some or it will arrive again. Get it. It is worth it.
